On January 7, 2025, the Santa Clara City Council, Planning Commission, and Heritage Commission held a joint meeting with Planning Outpost to officially kick off the General Plan Update project. During the meeting, the group reviewed the purpose of a General Plan and conducted a SWOT analysis to identify the city’s Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats.
